The Power of the Christian Voting Bloc

Christian CitizenshipThis video may just open your eyes to the incredible political power Christians in America have at their fingertips. It may also open your eyes–and fill them with tears–to how sadly American Christians squander their ability to be powerful salt and light in a dark and decaying culture.

2012 will almost certainly be the election year that preserved America…or spelled her irrevocable doom.  Will you pass up the opportunity to play a part in one of the most important elections in our nation’s history?

If every Christian in America would decide to vote–even if you have to vote third party (because races at ALL levels are important, and not all of them are “the lesser of two evils”)–and every Christian would examine the Bible and make a decision to vote with God’s values and not men’s values, we could make a difference the likes of which has not been seen since the American Revolution.

There’s a reason our nation is in the moral (and every other type) crisis it’s in. It’s not so much the fault of the atheists and unbelievers; when they choose the easy path, they’re just following their chosen philosophy.  No, it is the fault of CHRISTIANS that America is in the shoddy shape it’s in. WE were called to be salt and light–not unbelievers–and we’ve played the coward, the compromiser, the appeaser, the go-along, the chicken for several decades–ignoring our duty to our country, our fellow Americans, and most of all, to our God.

President James Garfield knew in 1877 whose responsibility it would be to uphold the fiber of the nation:

“If the next centennial does not find us a great nation, it will be because those who represent the enterprise, the culture, and the morality of the nation do not aid in controlling the political forces.”

If Christians don’t represent the Christian foundation of our nation in the public square, it isn’t hard to figure out who will: those who OPPOSE Christian values. Nature abhors a vacuum, and while Christians have played the ostrich for several decades, Marxist humanists have been implementing their agenda.

Look around, Christian. It’s time to give God an answer: (a) I’ll do as you’ve told me to, or (b) I don’t really care about the gift you’ve given us–and the world–in the ideals America was founded on; you can let your gift rot, God.

Even if you can’t bring yourself to vote for a RINO to save our nation as I have reluctantly decided, you need to vote in your other federal, state and local races.   Your school board makes decisions that affect your community, and your legislators and other officials make decisions that will affect the moral and fiscal health of your state, and your federal representative and senator will make decisions that corporately affect ALL of America.  So you MUST NOT sit this one out, even if you have to vote third party in the presidential race.

Remember, the first Chief Justice of the United States, John Jay, said

Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest, of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers.
